Tracking products through serial numbers on paperwork, using manual counting methods for stock takes, and using stock cards to show product quantities in stock locations, were all slowing down operations.

Fiorentini needed an integrated system that could automate key tasks, with multi-warehouse and multi-bin functionality to offer greater visibility of product locations.

Fiorentini UK, a long-standing customer of Techsol’s, initially operated with Sage 50 and Bit Inventory 50, which suited their needs at the time. However, as the business experienced substantial growth and warehouse operations became more complex, it became clear they needed a more advanced, scalable solution to support their evolving requirements. Upgrading to Sage 200 Professional with Bit Inventory 200 was the ideal solution, providing the enhanced functionality and flexibility they were looking for.

We also implemented Sicon Manufacturing, including MRP, Projects, and Works Orders, to give Fiorentini full visibility of stock demand, project costs, and reliable planning tools. Combined with the Bit Inventory 200 handheld scanners and product barcodes, Fiorentini can now manage stock takes, goods in/out, item tracking, and bills of materials far more efficiently.
